I went down to the crossroads, fell down on my knees.
Asked the Lord above for mercy, "Save me if you please."

I went down to the crossroads, tried to flag a ride.
Nobody seemed to know me, everybody passed me by.
I'm going down to Rosedale, take my rider by my side.
You can still barrelhouse, baby, on the riverside.
You can run, you can run, tell my friend-boy Willie Brown.

And I'm standing at the crossroads, believe I'm sinking down...

Nicely seen for maximum graphic effect, very stylish escaltors in that place, is it a metro station?

Beautiful intersection of lines and lights that can be best rendered in monochrome 9as you did). I like it a lot.

Impressive architecture and composition here korkut , great shot and nice choice of B/W , really a good job , compliments.
Stefano.

Merhaba Korkut,
Frame is very busy and quite complicated to read, but once the eye can separate the elements then it's enjoyable and the person is well placed.
Have a nice day JY

Bir restorandan ziyade Yıldız Savaşları dekoru gibi duruyor. Mekan çok albenili, ya da aslında kitsch ve senin pp öyle güzel göstermiş. OE kısımlar enerji katmış...

Beautiful composition with excellent light. Good POV and interesting construction. Well captured.
Best wishes,
Achim

ReLa

Hi Korkut,

great shot of a daily life scene, I like the way stairs cross the view. B/W was a good choice.

Amazing shot. It looks like a close up of something by Escher (Is it Relativity?)You really are brilliant at this kind of work and B&W is the perfect choice. Well done

Merhaba Korkut,

Mystery, Magic, Lights.....

"Cried loud my secret's,swung widely my doors
Turns the great wheel of life, I need..
Open my lips to whistle your dreams
A promise I made in the storm of love.."

Where does this path take us?
I don't know.. maybe a mild encounter with life's haunting passions....
But it leads to the light paths that's awaited...
For there's always a man, a woaman , to share this delight...
For an entangled vision, a dream in rhyme...
An image to mark a real thought...
I like this vision, and it has the language of sensible vision.
Excellent is this, a crafted art !!!

Iyi haftalar :)

Hello Korkut,
Italy surely is well known for its history but no less for its design and designes and surelly those galleries are among the most known.
Now we have a Turkish showing thru his camera some other sides of the italian design and what a good sight this is.
I like all those lines crossing the frame and the man breaking the repetition.
Good light and great B&W to give this stylish look.
Cheers.
Paulo

Hey Korkut,
very puzzled image!! you captured the moment again. How long did it take this time??? :)

Stelios

Very good use of this place, Korkut, esp. the light effect on these attractive lines. The guy, a must, cleverly added. Congrats, Daniel

Merhaba,

Ne demek...cennetlik olan, ya da cennete gibi olan biziz, bu fotograflara baktikca. Fotograf yukleyemesem de arada TE'nin az rastlanir 'dahi'leri ne yapiyor diye girip bakiyorum :)

now, this reminds me of the spiral stairwell at one parking lot mall where my dog got dizzy and vomitted (in the car)!!
i like the simple composition, graphical look with the well managed lighting, and of course, Eric C's crossroad to go by...
benedict

Lines, light, shadows, human, lines and again light, superbly composed!!Exceptional graphic effect and of course conversion in b&w is the best idea

Hi Korkut,
Lost in Lines, somewhere else? :)))
Fantastic lights captured here (too), and you always know where to put the human element in your composition! And the very soft sepia is the mousse on the cake (i don't know if you know this expression, we use it in Hungary... :D).
TFS!
Cheers,
Marci
