Photographer’s Note
Early spring afternoon in unsettled weather at the end of the road leading south from Cala Gonone. I did not treat the sky separately, the lines along the horizon are caused by wind patterns, these storm cells produce localised alternating storm and calm conditions. This place is understandbaly very popular in summer, and the coast to the right is inaccessible by road, in early march the area is almost deserted.
0.6 soft edge ND Grad filter used.
10mm. focal length cropped to eliminate vignetting from filter adaptor.

Hi Tan. Very dramatic sky, the ND grad is a great tool for these high contrast scenes, I need to get one for my WA lens. I love the colours of the sea and foreground. Well composed and thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Tan,
This photo has nice depth and excellent colors! The lighting is fine as well with good depth and detail. The clouds add nice texture and color to the scene making the sky compliment the sea.

Hi Tan,
He he know the place I went there to walk my dogs in the morning, not far from there I shot my sunrise time version. I appreciate of course as always the combination of the elevated pov and the 10-22, it seems even 7 or 8mm could have been useful here to get everything in. ND use resulted in very nice foreground lighting.
Have a nice week end JY

Simple shot, but very beautifully done! One thing that really gets my attention here is the colour of the water, such a beautiful light blue. I like the V-shape composition too. Well done!

Hi Tan
Marvellous lighting & colour contrasts, with superb sharpness & pov. The yellow flowers in the fg, contrast nicely, against the cyan sea & blue sky. The angled shoreline adds dynamism. Tfs!

What a perfectly composed shot. I keep looking around trying to find something wrong, but I can't. The little patch of yellow flowers stands out nicely with the blue background. The different shades of blue in the water really make the photo interesting. Perfect sky. Your use of grad and polarizer has been producing some great shots lately.

Ryan

Hi Tan
I guess it must be different at this time of year - I've only witnessed the summer version taking the usual boat trip along with loads of other tourists. The wide angle view with no noticible distortion is excellent and accentuates the dramatic sky. Having the pretty yellow flowers in the foreground creates an attractive focal point.

Hello Tan,
beautiful spring shot of Cala Fuili I got to know this summer. Very good composition and distribution of various elements in the image. Lovely colors. I hope to get to Sardinia in spring someday, to enjoy the nature and calm towns without the summer tourist rush and exhausting heat.
By the way, did you have a chance to try the water? It looks tempting even in March.. ;-)
Best regards,
Adrian
