Santa Maria del Popolo

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hello folks.
...and here are some more photos from the interior of the church Santa Maria del Popolo. It was first raised in 1099 as a chapel and then reconstructed in 1472-1477 into its present shape. Here you can see a colourful part of the church. It is different coloured marble. In this WS you can se a very detailed stained glass window, and in this one there is an unbelievable painting in a ceiling.

nice picture, difficult to cathch because of the light inside the little church.
Hej Per,
I really like this picture, it has a very fine composition with the arch and the pillars. The colours are quite successful, together with the workshops and links you have managed to give us a photo in the true TE spirit; learn about the world!

I havent seen that church, hmm it is really colorful. Those marble colors are very contrastic. I like the composition. Symmetric.
Good shot,

Hi Per,
You have a good series from Rome. I especially like this one. Good exposure on low but fairly even light. Splendid old architecture combining columns and round arches. Colourful paintings and rich texture on marble well presented.
