Just south of Bolsena (north of Viterbo) in central Italy.

This is an uncommon volcanic prismatic rocks composition probably caused by the cooling process.

Locally known as the "thrown stones". I will post some close ups.

As usual, the sky is PP (was burn white, I did my best ...)
