Photographer’s Note

This is one detail of Calcata.
The coutry is a very striking, there are many vegetation, all house have flowers or plants.
The shop in Calcata are very coloured, the storekeepers are all very nice and friendly.

I like this stair beacause is situated in a narrow street realy gracious, you can found three shop very cool.

When i have seen those colours-game (to left) i liked the join between the ancient and the modern.

I hope that this my thought like you.

I have set right the light and level, add the frame and correct a bit the exposure.

Ci sono dettagli deliziosi, a cominciare dal vaso fatto con una botte. Mi piacew anche la lampada che si intravede dalla finestra.
Certamente io cadrei scendendo quelle scale un giorno si e l'altro pure...!

Hi, Francesco. This small angle is well representative of the area you describe in your note and I think that's waht makes a good picture. Sum up an atmosphere in one single image. I think you have managed to do it here. The iniviting stairs, the flowers to decorate and the traditional architecture tell us very much about the place. Good light and good framing.

I simply love this kind of old, tiny stony backstreets, really...wonderful corner, although it might be sharper (try to sharpen it a bit after reducing size...)

Hi Francesco, this is a good try of this typical scene in this little village of calcata, i do like it even if there is perhaps some things to say : perhaps not very straight in verticallity, a little tilt here i guess .. i would have put perhaps too a little bit more light but perhaps this is my screen that sucks ;)
And to conclude i'm not very convinced by the frame, i say that i'm sincere hope you won't take it bad, the picture is good anyway don't worry :)
