| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This was taken of the river which runs through the town of Fano, about 40km from Ancona city. The boats were still closed up for winter, and although I was there in March, the weather was still extremely cold, and the first snow fell two days later.....abnormal for the time of year in this area. I liked the wintery mood of the heavy clouds, as well as the colourless scene, emphasising the fact that summer was still far away.
I have posted, previously, an image of the same river (different view) but taken during the warmer months. |
