This is another shot taken (this one towards the begining of the day) while hiking along the Cinque Terre Trail. It was an amazing place to visit. We were traveling in Germany and Italy during the winter time, and this was our first real day of sun - it was great.

Hi Ryan, your image brings back fond memories of this area,
you certainly caught the colors & gave another view of the colorful houses on one of the five villages.I feel that the
hill as well as the houses would appear more vivid & dramatic
if you had ommited the long stemmed branch it distracts,I think the tree limb & branches are enough of a frame,just my opinion.

Nice way of cropping, Ryan. The remaining square shows the sphere of this nice Italian coast in a beautiful way. The light blue frame adds to this. The branches right under in the picture are less relevant.

I want to go to visit the cinque ground since a long time... and your photograph gives me desire!
