Photographer’s Note
While at the EUR, the "fascist" part of Rome, My eye was attracted by the sharp colors of those two skaters's sweaters...
I am posting this today as an echo to Nicolas' post. Go check his post

There comes another one. I think I know what it is that I like in this beautifull photo. It is the sense of relief that the kids playing in peace gives, despite the strong colors and the fact that they are facing opposite to each other! the feeling that it is real in reallife in an evryday sitiuation.... Very nice composition, pov.

Salut Eric,

So playful, shows you are in touch with your "inner child", Eric, which is a must for us photographers ;-)
You couldn't have captured them better, more graphically. A very nice shot that is lacking in lots of elements and that's why it is so strong. The red and orange against the almost monochromatic setting does wonders here.
Great shot!
Hugs from Ottawa with arctic gales, freezing rain, and much snow! Ah!!!

Salut Eric,

Hi Eric
Very vibrant colors. They really pop against the marble background. I like the little motion blurr. Well done.

A strong graphic image Eric, kids can still have some innocent fun surrounded by these grand old monuments to countless "isms" through history, not yet perturbed by their lasting legacies as they will be once they grow up a bit more.
I'm still in Europe, Birmingham at present, I'm still getting used to the daily rain (might have been cold in Canada but at least it was dry!)
Hanging around Britain until April, trying to avoid the excesses of the summer heat wave in Australia by chasing winter around the world (I go home just in time for it in the southern hemisphere...)
