Hi David,
From the vignette I knew it had to be San Gimignano, this place is awesome and unique ! It's also not easy to shoot these towers withou getting a terrible amount of distortion, at least in your photo it fitted just under the arch. Always glad to see this palce I like it so much !

Nice perspective shot. Bird eye views of architectural towers further emphasize the verticality and height of an arhitecture tower. The style is surely Medieval Florence with its boldness.
