Photographer’s Note

Another attempt to capture a a Venetian bridge with some people in motion. I'm afraid that it is not quite as successful as the one I previously posted. But I still kinda like it.

I tried to find an angle which included the perspective down the promenade and the lights. But I wanted the main motive to be the pole and the figures on the bridge. It was extra tricky because I lacked a tripod and had to rely on resting the cam on something random.

I think it worked out pretty good with no tripod. The composition is great with the two blurred people on the bridge. Nicely done.

Nice use of blur to give this a different twist and something interesting. Great angle on the bridge too, to give a nice dynamic look. Great colour too!

It's a Good evening scene, Mikkel
The semi sillouhouette form of the bridge is very imppressive against dramatic sunset. Beautiful deep blue tone of sky and water. The ghosts aren't as important part as the imppressive atmosphere.
I used to be there at the same bridge in the evening as you were in 2001 but unfortunately I didn't have a great chance as you had.

Hi Mikkel,
Just discovered your gallery. You are too modest on your Intro page; there is great art in many of your photos and this is no exception. The blur is well done, the lighting romantic, and the POV well chosen. The sliver of sunset is the icing on the cake. First rate work. All the best...later.
