Photographer’s Note

My first post with my new toy: Canon G7

after posting comment about "that" car.
I fully agree with all of you but
no way to get this perspective, with the road enlighten by the sun with this background avoiding the car...
Anyway it's not so terrible in my opinion.

Another incredible warm day
walking up in the silence
to the mountain
trample on silver grass
folded by the winds
below on the plains
layers of fog
but here
the SUN
its warmth
make me smile
breathing deeply
enjoying the beauty
of the nature
catching the moment.
I'm just walking
no worries
just listening to the beating
of my heart.

Love the layers and the tones in your photograph. Composition is excellent as usual.

Hello Luca -

Congratulations on the new toy. This is a superb image! The fog/haze/smoke enhances the layering of the mountains and gives the image an unearthly feel about it. At first I was not sure about the automobile in the image but further study makes me think it was a good choice to leave in the composition. The auto gives the landscape a sense of scale. Exposure looks to right on the money while the composition is very pleasing. Well done!

This looks to be a keeper. Consider enlarging, mounting, and displaying in a prominent place.

Comoplimenti,un'immagine bellissima, questa foschia tra le colline e la luce quasi in controluce è veramente stupenda! Molto bella anche la nota, l'unico appunto è la vista della Jeep, non la trovo in sintonia, gli fà perdere la grande poesia ... peccato!

la tua foto sembra l'incontro tra due mondi: le vallate sullo sfondo ricordano paessaggi da "signore degli anelli" mentre la macchina e la strada in primo piano sono un'immagine dell'oggi.
E' un viaggio nello spazio e nel tempo che ci fai fare!

Absolutely STUNNING, Luca.

It looks like a late afternoon shot so I wonder about the mist. I thought that was something to be seen early morning or when cold meet warm.....but what do I know :O) Just fantastic how the mist clings round the mountains looking like waves. Adding the gorgeous light is giving this shot a very special atmosphere.

A wonderful image - the mist that hangs over the rolling hills makes a really attractive shot. Nice soft lighting over the hills too. I'm not mad about the car, but it's not a problem, it does act as a focal point within the image.

Hi, Luca. What a depth in your picture. The mist hanging in the valeys creates a series of layers that create an incredible depth. This is enhanced by the trees and the car in the foreground. The light is very well managed and creates a nice wintry atmosphere.

Il m'a l'air très efficace ce nouveau G7 (j'ai toujours été content de mon ancien G5)....la photo que tu présentes est vraiment très réussie avec ces différents plans étagés dans la brume.

Honestly who cares about the car. I sure don't!! Look at the wondeful lighting! Look at the wonderful layers in the background mountains that many a painter would love to conceive on canvas. I really love this shot Luca. And I think the G7 is a fantastic camera. It even takes the same battery as the 400 Xti. But I am sure you already knew that! Thanks for sharing!
