| Zooming in on the top of il Duomo di Milano, the city's architectural marvel and greatest monument. Il Duomo is Europe's third largest cathedral after St Peter's and that of Seville. While construction began in the 14th century, the beautiful Gothic façade was not completed until the 19th under the orders of Napoléon Bonaparte. |
