Veronese Dustbins, a photo from Verona, Veneto

Photographer's Note

This picture is been taken in Verona,Italy ; the city of Romeo and Julia.
The Municipiality there supplied all the Veronese schoolchildren with paint and brush ; who then painted the dustbins in the city with different scenes of Verone.
I think this idea should be a sample to all big cities im the world.

Hi, Mesut. I think tourist places realize how some aspects of their cities can be used to improve their cities. Dustbins are necessary, but most of the time not very attractive. These two have been turned into paintings. A good idea. Here they stand well out against the brick wall and the colours are very good.

A unique shot, and rather amazing. What a fine idea to enhance and clean up a city. Usually these and larger bins are a blight on the landscape. A sharp crisp shot, well framed. Nice work, Mesut. Its a keeper...later.

Dün bir, bugün iki; çöp bidonları ile ilgili yorum yazıyorum. Ama öyle güzel ki, yazmamak olmazmış.
