| One of the many frescos found in a house at Pompeii. It took a bit of retouching and color enhancing but it doesn't look much different from the original. Much damage has occurred to the site because of inadequate preservation; many of the frescos have (fortunately) been removed and taken to the National Archaeological Museum in Naples and replicas used instead but those that remain are much less bright and clear than when they were first uncovered... |
