Photographer’s Note

An abandoned house, near Monticelli, a nice suburb of Monselice (Padova). South Padova's county is full of these ruins, they're old houses left by owners years ago, when agricultural work started to be not profitable and much hard to execute day by day.
Now, sometimes, they're restored by rich lovers of full of peace rural life.

Una casa abbandonata vicino a Monticelli, un bel borgo rurale di Monselice (PD). La bassa provincia di Padova è disseminata di queste case abbandonate, testimoni di un'epoca passata, quando intere e numerose famiglie riuscivano a trarre il loro sostentamento dal solo lavoro agricolo. Abbandonate da anni, vengono a volte riacquistate e messe a nuovo da facoltosi amanti della rilassante vita campestre.

Well, I like it, both the photo and the idea of restoring an old house for the peace of the country side. I like the hard focus on the structure, it akes it ver real feeling, like looking at it in person, nice job.

Hello Silvio,
I love photos of these old ruins, and yours is lovely. I like takeing photos of them also. Great POV where your eye is lead up between the trees to the front door. I can understand how people who have money would want to restore such a beauty. Thank you for sharing.
