Photographer’s Note
The food in Sicily is fantastic, with the locals having a lot of pride in their local produce. Fresh produce markets are a regular feature of the towns selling local specialities.
In Syracuse in the south west of sicilly, fish feature prominently in the markets and this shot of a fish stall not only shows the quality and freshness of the produce but the care they take in its display as well.
The brightness levels were altered in Photoshop to heighten the contrast and bring out the silver sheen of the fish.

Sharp and clear view, Jonathan! :-) I usually am not a great fan of fish markets, but I have to admit that your tight framing of the fan-set fish makes it look quite nice. Well done!
