'Riviera Fiorita' is a name of an important parade along 'Riviera del Brenta', September 2th Sunday.
It starts from Stra and proceeds until Malcontenta, the old Brenta river mouth.
Parade is superb, you may admire many and many typical venetian boats, all full of colours and human propelled (oars), and wonderful typical ancient dresses like Carnevale's ones. In this shot the POSEIDON (NEPTUNE) statue seems to be exhausted about trumpets sound !! I comprehend him, poor guy, they play directly inside his ears !!

Riviera Fiorita è una stupenda manifestazione che si svolge lungo la 'Riviera del Brenta' la seconda domenica di settembre. Parte da Stra e procede fino a Malcontenta, dove si trovano le vecchie foci del fiume Brenta.
La sfilata è stupenda: si possono ammirare numerose ricostruzioni di barche d'epoca, tutte coloratissime e rigorosamente a remi. A bordo, tutti i personaggi sono vestiti con incantevoli costumi d'epoca, come a Carnevale.

In questa foto la statua di POSEIDONE (NETTUNO) sembra essere veramente stanca di sentire il suono delle trombe !! Lo posso capire, poveretto, gli suonano nelle orecchie !!
