Photographer’s Note
This, like many other, is one of the hidden and unknown corner of Venice.
Not only S.Marco, Palazzo Ducale, Rialto, etc. etc. Venice is this too.
If you walk away from tourism flows you may find very picturesque, quite and amazing places.
I will try to publish all my 'Unknown Venice' pictures. Not because they'are beautiful, but because I would like to suggest and reccomend all tourist visiting Venice to stop not only in emblazoned and celebrated places. Around the corner you may find typical little shops and inns, where you may spend half and... 'joy' double.

Hi Silvio. This is an interesting idea, and maybe inspires me to upload an old photo of Venice that I scanned recently - it is also a kind of 'unknown Venice' shot. This one is nicely composed and has lovely light and colour. It just needs something to add interest, perhaps a person (preferably not a tourist!) on the bridge or balcony, or a boat in the canal. I know you can't always have what you want! Anyway, this is quite a pleasing shot of a city which is usually teeming with tourists, and has a nice quiet atmosphere.
Regards,
Andrew
