Photographer’s Note

I have already posted a somehow similar picture of these turbaned ladies posing during the Carnival of Venice. While most of the pictures are usually taken in and around St Mark's Square, photographers may find models in other locations, such as this place, the famous tower called Contarini e Bovolo, reminding the style of the Pisa Tower, in a smaller scale. Here in Venice and particularly duing the Carnival a photographer has to be very very quick because he is not alone, and positions may change for one second to the other.

Hi Izzet,
Beautiful double-portrait captured at the right moment. The colours are nice and angle of view is good.
Perhaps this would look bit more dramatic if you have a even more shallower DOF. But I don't know if the lens you used provides that option though.

Hi Izzet, good to see another late add to your series from the Venice carnival - having seen all your photos really makes it look like an appealing venue to visit myself, but on the other hand it seems that you have already done the full artistic coverage of the event and it will be hard to come up with something new ;) This is nice for its use of repetition and the way in which the colorful characters interact with the elegant old architecture. I also like the soft lighting.

Beaucoup d'harmonie, Izzet, dans les attitudes et la pose de ces dames masquées. Tu as su prendre le bon moment. Les couleurs et les plis des draperies sont superbes et ajoutenet à la beauté de l'ensemble.
