| Cągliari is the capital of the island of Sardegna (Sardinia), an autonomous region of Italy. We went there in december 2004. So this is actually WINTER! We spent both christmas and new year's eve with a friend and her familly. We also visited the National Archaeological Museum and discovered the Nuragic civilisation. This picture shows the old part of the city (called 'Castello', the castle) lies on top of a hill, with a wonderful view of the Gulf of Cagliari (aka Angels Gulf). |
