Photographer’s Note

These twin models were posing under the vaults of the Palazzo Ducale, at St Mark's Square. I don't exxagerate if I say that there were at least 25 photographers and people who wanted to have a picture with them, around and behind them.. After many minutes of struggling in order to free the columns, there was a split second of time, enough to take only one shot.

If there were so many photographers, I appreciate the fact that you have caught the best angle. Excellent lighting, as well. Venice is full of surprizes.

Very nice photo, beautiful colours, the whole composition is mystic so as it is with the carneval in Venice, must visit it one day

Glad to see this late addition to your carnival series, Izzet. Considering that you had only one split second to take it as you envisioned it, I think you pretty much nailed the composition of this photo, it really came out very balanced and elegant. A timeless beauty, thanks for adding it to your previous ones.

The reason for my satirical approach to your splendid photograph Izzet, was, that there is a quite a number of Venetian Carnival photos on TE, but I have have to admit...

Sembrano quasi volutamente ricolorate dall'originale in BN. Ottimo l'accostamento dei grigi sullo sfondo contro i 'freddi' colori del soggetto.

This is simply amazing. I like the desaturation of the background, the position of the model in the back, and the mute pink tones. Wonderful!
