[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This cathedral in Florence Italy has many interesting characteristics. One of the most fascinating is the fact that it's dome was built entirely without scaffolding. Each worker was promised a paid funeral should they happen to have fallen during construction. The detail that these fearless artisans were able to produce is absolutely incredible.

I'm amazed by the lack of points here I must say... This is a gorgeous photo! Very unusual composition to show a familiar subject, nice crop, play of intersecting planes, and the light is perfect! This deserves more!
