[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We were walking around in Florence, getting to know as much of the city as we could in one day. This particular scene has stay in mind, because of the focus and determination of the old man to move. Every step was slow, and painful. Yet he was not hesitating.

Hi Enrique
Good shot, I like the use of black and white and, as you say in your note, you can sense the difficulty this man experiences with each step. Excellent composition showing the figure in a clearly urban location and with his positioning so he is moving, albeit slowly, towards the centre of the frame.
Good work
Peter

Nice use of Black and White. The old man is well positioned in your frame. I wonder what he is thinking?
Nice work.
Mark

Bonjour Enrique,

Admiration.
Amitiés.
Philippe

cool sense of motion here ... albeit slow motion! your subject provides excellent character. he looks like it might take him all day to reach the other end of that frame, yet he'd do so patiently and with determination.

i like the story that this photograph tells. great shooting!

Hola Enrique
Buena foto en B/N, tiene vida.
Parece que nos cansemos nosotros al ver al pobre anciano cómo le cuesta caminar.
Buena composición, muy buenas las sombras, y una definición perfecta.
Buen trabajo
Saludos
Josep

NICE:) Like the humorous title too:) One more step? Looks like many more just to get across the screen;) Theres a way you framed this that really creates a sort of problem for him. The look on his face, obviously from exhaustion, then all that space to walk across...

Hello Enrique,
This is it. This is what I like most. People.
Wonderful B&W work. Dark area with the old man with mostly bright dressing and the bright area. Very well composed image.
The feelings part is an another and important addition as well.
Regards
Bulent
