Photographer’s Note

This is my 3rd (and last for the moment) cloudy picture from Burano island...
I hope to return soon in this beautifulst small town, ...maybe in a sunny day...

Nice sense of depth through a colorfull street.

I also like the bike in the middle of the street which makes the shot more typicall.

Buongiorno Fabio,
delle tre questa è per me la più intrigante, per il taglio stretto, la bicicletta e... il 'putiferio' di colori!
La via strettissima dice tante cose, non si nota affatto la mancanza di sole, grafica e immagine di alto impatto, quasi uno studio per una pubblicità... manca solo il messaggio!
Insomma, proprio molto bella e intensa, complimenti!

Nice colourful composition. These strong combinations of colours is really appealing and reminds me of some places I visited in Mexico. I like the detail of the bike. It's like the owner is going to appear in any minute...

What a beautiful slice of this town. The POV is supoerb, and the bicycle enhances. I like the clarity and colour as one peeks through this alley. One can feel the texture of the walls and stones and bricks of this scene. Very well captured.

The colours in the streets of this place are amazing. I like this composition looking up the narrow street with the bicycle to catch our eye. It could be that this place would be difficult to photograph in strong light.

but the colours are again excellent- cloudy days don't have to be that bad- I love this simple composition of colourful elements and the narrow lane that leads the eye to even more colours, great shot:-)

Fantastic colorus in this one ... i would have liked to see a bit more of a traditional looking bicycle in this setting ... but besides that it is all abstractically beautiful and vibrant

Even when it's cloudy it's possible to find attractive subjects, even if not exactly what was originally planned.. I like here this patchwork of colors, they look very luminous and the damages on the left wall add extra interest. What I don't like is the small grey thing in the middle foreground, it is obstructing and could be cloned easily.

A good choice of framing with these 2 beautiful colors of the houses and this depth in the center.
A good light capture....without sun, thats' very good.
That gives desire for going to see at the bottom of this pretty small street.

Fabio this is such an interesting photo showing the anrrow passage and the balance in colors. The bike in the narrow passage really adds a nice touch too. I can see you are thinking very well with your eyes before you click the shutter. Good work.

Bellissimi i colori e bellissimo il vicolo. Sei riuscito bennissimo a nascondere la mancanza del sole con questi bellissimi colori... ma piu' di tutto mi piace la bici parcheggiata che da alla foto il tocco umano... ... strano che in qualche altra parte del mondo la bici parcheggiata cosi sarebbe gia' sparita per la colpa del tocco umano ;o)

lacking sun does not have any impact on the colors here, I like this colorful view inside the lane, framed by houses.
Maybe the pole in the foreground should have been cropped?

Hi Fabio,
Italy is a very beautiful place to be and very great for photography. This is another beautiful one in your gallery. I like it for three things especially. The first one is colors. I like so much colors and here, I'm well-served! Second, the narrow aisle. Always gives me the feeling of mystery, of secret places. And third, the bicycle. So, there's life there, for sure! A beautiful one, well done as usual.

This is a wonderful shot. The colors are great and the balance and composition are perfect. I like how there is half of the windowe shutter included on each of the buildings on the sides especially which gives it added balance. Well done.
