Photographer’s Note
A view of Venetian roofs, as taken from the top of the Bell Tower in Piazza San Marco, more than 100m above the square.
It was a cloudy day, and the low light painted the red roofs in pink.

Hello Ytzhak,
I am gladf to be the first one among thise who appreciate this photo. Only old roofs... Can you imagine how strict they are about dish antennas ? Unless you removed them one by one ( Joking ! ) I hardly see any around. I'll visit the Carnival this year, and I know that they will be huge lines in order to get up the Campanile.
Good and straight shot ! Take care - Izzet

Must be a classic view, but I can't recall seeing one from the PoV before. Good graphic result.

Hi my friend
Similar than mine; very interestings about the colour.
I suggest a white frame to give more impact to the view.
Please have a look to the WS

A delightful view across the old town, Itzik - except for the satellite dishes it looks like a timeless sight that must have been intact like this for centuries. Good details to be found. Due to the high amount of reds and pinks in the photo, perhaps I would have chosen a more neutral frame color like black or white.

Nice photo Yitzhak, amazing to see how close the roofs are, very dense scene, well presented and composed, maybe another color for the frame would have worked better, but it's just question of taste, no doubt about the result, good work.

Bonsoir Yitzhak,

Very nice view of this amalgam of roofs. The chaos is well compensated by the amount of great details of this old city.
With a little more sharpness and a black or white border the image would be well enhanced.

Do you see roofs? What roofs? There, those roofs! I don't see roofs! Yes, the red roofs. Red roofs? Yes, roofs! Ah, you mean pink roofs? Yes ROOFS! Ok, I see the roofs now. :)
Ok, it's not the best critic that I wrote for sure, but it's my way to tell you that this picture of r.... are quite impressive. I like your composition, with all the lines in all orientation. Great work!

Hello Yitzhak,
This is a very well framed shot. The architecture and colours are both stunning. Excellent detail too - making it a joy to 'wander around' the town. Well seen.
A belated Happy New Year to you and your family.
