Photographer’s Note
In August-September we spent two weeks camping on the Ligurian coast of Tuscany. Overall the weather was good, but even in Italy in summer, you will occasionally get a downpour that will flood everything in sight within an hour or two. During this rainfall there was little to do but sit inside and take photos of the rain.
Technically I clarified and saturated before resizing. After that I sharpened.

Hi Per,
A different shot from you and also funny. Now that I make this critique is also raining but at september in Italy ;-)))
I like the way you got this scenery and also the direct approach you did. Excelent enquadrement between the trees to show a detail of the moment raining at the camping park. I don't like camping and I made only this sportiv summer activity when I was in military service. But this is for picture critique. Good handling of light, fine approach and a different and interesting composition.
Congratulations and don't make camping now!
Best Regards.

Hej Per,
You really capture a big amount of rain in one shot. I like the composition as well as the colours, despite the bad weather. Good work.

I like this one, Per, even though I'm not much into camping this looks like a true-to-life and aptly titled account to me. I like how the droplets hitting the ground illustrate the story about the downpour, and I also think that the light inside the tent is a very nice touch that gives life to the photo even though we (understandably) cannot see any people.

Hi Per - Yes this could be Denmark as well - in fact does this remind me of a tent-trip I made in Denmark together with two friends in Jylland - we was teenagers and came to Vedersø Camping where we found a "perfect" spot like this between the trees. And yes - during the night it started to rain - and yes we "sailed away" - thanks for sharing this nice job and the memories.

This reminds me of camping with the Girl Guides and running outside to fix the guy ropes in the pouring rain. Oh, the memories. I like how you captured the weather perfectly Per. The raindrops are good bouncing off the ground, and the overall atmospher is just that of a rainy day. Well done.

:-) Still, looks cozy, spending some time in one of those tents while the raining is pouring down. I like the texture of the trees.
