Photographer’s Note

This magnificient panorama has been shot by the Augustus Garden, in Capri. In 1900 the German magnate Krupp financed the construction of a street to be used for traveling on foot that connected the Quisisana - where he lived - to Marina Piccola.
Built with great skill by engineer Emilio Mayer, it has been called "the world's most beautiful road", thanks to the way it hugs the cliffs and the appropriate use of local construction materials.

It's a great place. Fourth version of this in TE. Yours has lovely shine on the sea as a bonus. Good composition and well handled shadows.

Veramente impressionante questa strada, vedo che tu sei stato piu’ fortunato di me e l’hai vista con il sole. Ho forse sono stata io sfortunata a trascorrere una vacanza a Capri sotto la pioggia…bellissima ugualmente.

Bella immagine anche se la luce non è delle migliori (chissà con la luce calda del tramonto come sarebbe venuta). Se fosse stato possibile avrei anche cercato di non ingombrare troppo l'immagine con lo strapiombo roccioso in primo piano a sinistra ma non so se avevi la possibilità di spostarti. Aggiungo la foto al tema "Vertigo".
