Photographer’s Note
I just loved how the sunbeams were piercing thorugh the vast darkness in St. Peters that morning and tried my best to capture it. It was early, maybe 7:30am, and the sun shine through the window was at just the right angle for about 10 minutes. That is by far the largest church/temple/shrine, etc. I've ever seen in my travels to various countries. It dwarfs the people walking in it, and succeeds in impressing any who enter.

Brilliant Thomas. Great idea
Nice light and reflection in the church. Only, in my opinion, could improve the photo: more detail in the wall.
Thanks for share.
Ps: 7:30 am...I usually sleep at this time...

L'image n'est pas techniquement exceptionnelle, mais le coup d'oeil en vaut vraiment la peine. Bravo Thomas!

Wow, I really love how you capturd those sun beams, i guess that's more or less the whole point of this photo. The darkish ambiance in the church also looks really nice to me. However, the first thing that really disturbed me in this photo was the purple fringing around the windows and those lit up seats. I tried to eliminate this problem in this little workshop that I made, hope you like it.
Anyways, that's overall a very nice work you did, well done.

Linas

wonderful capture of the light Thomas. I think you get better detail ont the wall if you move the camera to the side instead aim directly at the beams.
