** Venetian Walk **

This photo was taken during a small night walk through the "Serenissima".
This place is in the prolongation of the Big shot dell' Academia, along Rio San Vidal (I always wonder why the channels bear the name of "Rio", rather of Hispanic consonance...).
The small bridge which joined the "calle Giustinian"; on the left of the photo, is called the "Ponte San Giustinian".

I like the very low point of view of this photograph, which emphasizes the shining paving stone of the recent rain.

This is really romantic evening. I like how you used the lanterns to light your "scene". The reflections on the stairs due to the rain are also nice and well rendered. And finally as you said ... also the low point of view.

Hey Loic, a very atmospheric night time shot. I dont think this bridge looks inviting at this time of night, in fact I think if I were walking through Venice I woudl avoid this place!

The lighting is so spooky. Makes for a great photo though!

venise dans toute sa splendeur romantique
les effets de lumiere sur le dallage humide sont du plus bel effet,le cadrage me plait beaucoup egalement.

Excellent image!! I like the ambiance and the reflected light off the pavement. Here is a situation where the warm color cast from the light adds to the mood of the image rather than detracting.

A perfect nightshot with warm coloring streetlight and an excellent perspective compo with the steps in front and the brig in the center to the good enlightened facade, a very good one to see at the viewers, underrated.

Ce n'est pas pour rien que l'on appelle Venise la Sérénissime. Que de douceur dans cette photo. Beaucoup de mystère également. L'exposition est juste et reflête bien l'atmosphère de Venise la nuit.
