This is a detail of the S.Givanni at Mont'Orfano. A place of wonderful walks through the Val Grande where almost nobody seems to live anymore. Beautiful nature and very little villages. It was a pretty climb to do, but once there the peacuful little village is marvellous and this little church is pure history.
I will post a full picture of the place tomorrow.

Good sharp photo showing the detail carved into this church. Plenty of light and shade add extra interest.
Here's a Dutchman not involved in the War of the Windmills!

Good play of light, shadow and texture. Well-managed composition too. A good picture.

Nice close up of this interesting architecture. Very typical for Piemont the use of raw stones for buildings. Nice details and light.

Werkelijk een detail foto, men moet er eventjes naar kijken om alles netjes op een rijtje te kunnen plaatsen, maar het is mooi, duidelijk en scherp.
Goed gezien en mooi weekend.

I see you are on the route again. looking forward to follow the trip.
This one has a nice atmosphere. With strong lite it is hard to get it right but you did well.
Maybe the composition could be better. More sky and more on the right.

I like seeing those details. Very nice stone arches. This is a though time to take pictures (with all the direct sun and shadows)
