carnival in venice Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hello everybody! I am back, and here is a new pic!
I have to "confess" that' not propely a pic of mine because... the mask in the picture it's me!!! :)
...during carnival time in venice obviously...

it's a hand maded mask, using black velvet, gold pearls and pailettes for the dress, foam rubber and metallic supports for the hat, papiermache for the face-mask.
it taked me more or less 1 week of makework, but is was worthwhile, i think ;)

Wondefrul shot!Really nicely composed (so how did you take it, in a mirror?) very sharp, good colours and depth in the background...I love it!

Great shot with a good use of DOF and POV. I have made just one like that, only without a persono behind the mask. Take a look.
Gdoo colours and frame to.That ray of sunlight is wonderful.

per una volta vedo un 'autoritratto mascherato'!
Complimenti per la maschera, io non ne sarei stato capace (che pazienza!!)
Comunque tu l'abbia fatta (la foto) sei riuscita a tagliare l'inquadratura in modo incredibilmente buono.
Ottima idea, complimenti per lo spirito e la riuscita dell'opera!
