Photographer’s Note
Castelraimondo is a small valley town in the Le Marche region of Italy. This quaint village of 5,000 was my home for a month as I attended an Italian language course at Scuola Dante Alighieri, a school for foreigners in the town. Winding along the river Potenza, Castelraimondo was founded in the 1300s and the 40 meter tall Cassero (far left) was built around the same time. On top of the large hill in the distance is Camerino, a larger town and home of the University of Camerino (Scuola Dante Alighieri is affiliated with the University).

Very beautiful city. The time of day really adds to the shot giving it a warm and inviting feel. It also gives it a very calm and quiet feel of between the day and the night. The colors are excellent and the point of view really plays well with the topography and situation of the town giving a nice path and broad view through the town and off into the distance toward the right side. Looks like a beautiful place to have stayed.

hi Geoff,
I like the point of view here. you lived in a beautiful area, wow, I can imagine how exciting that would be. I like how the pinkish sunset colors have sort of lit up the houses.
nice shot!
