Ho avuto anch'io l'impressione che fosse un quadro. Le onde impetuose che si frangono sui miseri resti e la solitudine del posto rendono la scena inquietante nonostante l'intensa luce del giorno. Il misero arco sospeso dà l'idea che contro questo mare si può opporre solo una fragile resistenza. Ed infatti sembra che l'uomo qui abbia rinunciato a lottare contro le forze della natura. Mi incuriosisce sapere perchè questo luogo non gode di buona reputazione. Ho cercato su internet ma invano.

E'vero che sembra quasi un quadro. Si vede la lotta fra il mare e la rocca. E questo pontino che resiste alla colera degli elementi ! Bravissimo.

You certainly have an eye for unusual images. Difficult conditions, too - flat light and salt spray everywhere. I think I'd have used the 35mm 'jetable', but the 1/320 exposure tells me you risked your digital camera. Hope you didn't get salt in it!

The sea looks very powerfull !!! I think you need to have a deathwish to use the little bridge, but maybe it's not that agitated ervery day...

This is a very interestig photo. Great capture of the moment. It looks very dangerous! I like the building and archway. The rocks and rock stairs are very interesting too. I would like to visit some day! JP

I don't think you need to elaborate on why it hasn't got such a good reputation... (I didn't know understatement was typically italian, Emanuela).

From the thumbnail that shot was a mystery, it looked like a collage of pinkish/sepia walls on the sea.. the scene is even more surprising when you fully open it, whos the stupid guy who built his house here? Does somebody walk the bridge sometimes? scaaaaaaary....

Well I would hate to deliver pizza to this house, don't know who thought of building it there, but it makes looking for inspirations for painters and photographers much easier.

amazing shot, Emanuela! the spray from the dancing waves look like brush strokes on a painting. what a shot! i genuinely hope the toilet is not on the other side of the bridge...what do you mean by the house has a bad reputation? ghosts?

Eccola qua! Ti spiego...è una delle prime foto di TE che ho visto, un anno fa, quando ho comminciato da scoprire questo website. Mi aveva colpit subito e stavo cercandola... E' molto bella, molto particolare. La fragilità delle opere umane (della vità?!) sembra essere simbolizzata da questo ponte. Il punto di vista è stupendo, trasmette tutta la potenza del mare. Complimenti!
