Ruins of the Basilica of Maxentius near Palatino (Palatine Hill), one of the 7 hills of Rome and only a short stroll from the Colosseum. It is said that Romulus (after which Rome was named) and Remus, were found by a she-wolf in a cave on this hill. I have burned in the oe highlights a little. More info here:

Beautiful architectural composition with the ruin on FG. Excellent POV. Splendid combination of blue sky and green

What impresses me the most of your image was your choice of showing the immense size of this house, as well as the huge piece of rock in the center of the house. A work of great feat to build I imagine,

There is such a wealth of historical buildings in Rome, there must always be something or some angle that has not been shown before. This is quite new to me and is well exposed, with good light.
I'm so glad you included the people, otherwise, it would not have been possible to judge the immense scale.
Your composition is good, the vertical corner sitting nicely on the thirds line.
Have a good day,

You have chosen a point of view to extract the maximum graphism from the repeating arches. The visitors offer a good sense of scale. The saturated blue sky makes a fine backdrop for the ruins.

beautiful view of the historic ruins with fine details and lovely natural colours. I liked the diagonal composition and the lovely contrast against the bright blue sky. The groups of people give a sense of scale and add life to the picture.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice evening.

Must be quite exausting going along the Roman Forum in Summer, but good for contrast between the remains of the old ruins and the very blue sky
Like your POV that lets watch the impresive interior of the basilica and people admiring, so giving life at the capture
Well done, tfs

the ruins look very imposing, you chose a good angle to set the structure off against the homogeneous blue sky. I like very much the strong definition of colours and shadows, you managed the light and the contrast superbly (I can't detect your intervention on the highlights). Your picture is delightfully solid and sharp, the people add vividness and scale. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,
