Information on the location of the tree and how to achieve it: before boarding Montebibico you encounter a kiosk, take the first dirt road on the left, about two hundred yards on the right is a fence and then a gate, inside there is a beautiful chestnut with many specimens are centuries old, this is the largest and the oldest.
Description: chestnut has always had a prominent role in the economy of the mountains of Spoleto for both fruits, locally called "Marroni", or as wooden beams, in many of the great cathedrals in Germany come from here
