Photographer's Note
First of february in Perugia, Umbria, central Italy...0 degrees Celsius... :-P
Perugia is a medieval city constructed on hills with amazing architecture. On the bottom of this picture you can see an aqueduct which dates from the year 1254. It is now used as a walk way.
In the background on the right you can see a piece of the famous "Università per stranieri" building (university for foreigners. A university proposing very good italian courses for foreigners.

I don't think you can do anyway better than this PoV. It's at its best. It's a great pleasure to follow your camera, Leonie!
Good Day!

Beautiful place and very beautifully "framed" by natural way by that arch. Very good point of view. Nice colors, bright, attractive view. Very good shot, Leonie.

For five months I lived down the aqueduct stairs and around the corner from this view but unfortunately the steps were under construction at the time. It's wonderful to see it as it is now-- and to see that some things, like the flag on the right, haven't changed. Wonderful photo!

So many interesting details in this photo, Leonie! I like the way the arch hides the sky, making us concentrate on the buildings. The snow on the roofs gives a nice and unusual touch as well. Great job!

Hello Leonie,
Beatiful one. I like the use of arc to frame the main subject. The color of the building is also beatiful.
Thank you for sharing.

Oh, some catching up to do here. Very nicely framed urban shot, with your good camera. The whisp of smoke from the chimney, and the clothing of the walker set this at winter time, though a pity you cut her legs. Nice place for a short break, so that's where you where.

Nice pic!
It does remind me of this picture.
You have choosen a very nice point of view. Good depth, it was not very sunny, but good colours.
The only thing that that I would do different was cropping less, so that we could see whole the legs of the women on the foreground, or just wait till was gone.
Anyway: splendid pic!

Nice view of this city. I like the framing made by the arch which makes us focus in the city and also contrasts the darkness with the colorful buildings. This looks very much like some of the old quarters of Lisbon.

It's very interesting to see a dusting of snow in this region. I'll never forget the chocolate. The peace flag is also interesting. In San Francisco there are many rainbow flags similar to this which represent, hmm, something other.
