Photographer's Note

The square is not entitled to the fountain here, but the illustrious Pietro Fontana (1775 - 1854), political, art scholar, founder of the Pinacoteca Comunale, general secretary and then prefect of the Trasimeno. Standard bearer of Spoleto for five years (1832 - 1828) was the time when Pope Leo XII Spoleto.

A superb plunging view on the beautiful square . I like a lot the presence of the 3 people . They are important in the composition .

Très belle vue plongeante sur la cour rectangulaire avec ses diagonales venant rejoindre la fontaine !
Ici, point d'éléments perturbateurs venant briser le très bel ensemble architectural.
Un point de vue très original.

belli i colori pastello dei palazzi che fanno da cornice a questa splendida piazza.
Mi piace molto la tramatura del selciato e le poche persone presenti che rendono la piazza viva, ma non affollata.
Ottimo lavoro.

love the POV here.
another option would have been to leave out the entire sky, that way the viewer would feel completely trapped in on all sides - you know what i mean? just scroll down the page until the sky is gone, that looks great too.
love the subject, love the arched door in the bg, and the height is great too.
lots to enjoy in this scene.

Foto già ammirata che proponi in TE per i giusti appezzamenti.
Luoghi belli ...ma , penso, sconosciuti al grande pubblico assettato di immagini.
Ieri ero in casa di amici .... forse le foto piacciono ad una minoranza.... ma va bene così.

Lovely combination of pastel colors with excellent contrast, so well illustrated from high pov which seems to accentuate the depth. Nicely framed, clarity with the two figs provides the scale ref. Great shot, Congrats

La fameuse fontaine d'une photo précédente..que j'aime beaucoup et que j'aurai aimé faire..
Tous les graphiques au sol sont impresssionnants et sont interressant pour un photographe.

con un bello alto POV, hai ottenuto una foto impressionante. I colori e prospettive sono eccellente. Lúomo nel primo piano e quello vicino la fontana da' un buon elemento di interessa e dinamismo. Ottimi i colori e luce, la tua foto e' un grande colpo di occhio.

This was taken from a good, high vantage point. The emptiness of the foreground is cleverly avoided by the inclusion of a man who, together with another man in the background, provides a wonderful sense of scale. well done. Regards.
