''Perched on a rocky hill which overlooks the valley of Giudicarie outward, the Stenico castle is a symbol of the power of the bishops of Trent in this region.
Fortification of early medieval origin, since the thirteenth century it became their property, the summer residence and seat of the Captain, the officer who was entrusted with the administration of the territory.
Captains and the prince-bishops have occurred through the centuries, changing, altering, embellishing the castle, which today is a robust and composite.
Outside looks like a medieval fortress and imposing severe, while the interior frescoes and sculptured decorations give the appearance of an elegant home. The most significant date back to the principalities of Johannes Hinderbach, caring humanist, and Bernardo Cles, a man of power and refined patron.
The rooms are elegantly furnished with fine furniture today, carved and inlaid, fine paintings, weapons and firearms, antique tools for everyday use copper, iron and wood, from the collections of the Castle of Buonconsiglio.''

Hi Alessandro
looking at this, there is a wide range of greens, therefore the white/beige structures really stand out against it.
the bottom half of the photo is better than the top half, and perhaps even leaving out the top portion would have been an option? ...just my opinion :)
still, its a pleasing scene, lots of charm, elegance, and calming atmosphere.

Wonderful setting of this castle. From there it controls the whole valley, the beautifully forested mountain slopes and the vineyard on the FG.
On a sunny day like that one, the light creates so many splendid green tones in the nature.
Excellent point of view and composition.

Hello Alessandro,
lively composition of lighting, colors and positioning. The white castle is really pleasant to be seen, surrounded by green trees. The mountains and the vines are really wonderful.

Superb composition with this wonderful picture, I like the POV that shows this first hill with terraced vineyards and the abundant trees behind the image of the castle in the top, nice background with the other two lines of mountains.

Good Morning Alessandro,

This certainly has a most formidable location but would also have been easy to defend!
Your pov defines its elevated position whilst the b/g gives a strong context as well as creating a fine backcloth, against which the castle stands out.

I like the composition of gorgeous green valley from fantastic pov. The castle looks so impressive on the hill top surrounded by such peaceful landscape. Management of colors, sharpness, clarity, contrast against the beautiful blue sky and I like the backdrop moutains which is marvelous. Perfectly well done.
