Photographer's Note
Whilst attending a wedding at Borgo di Tragliata in Italy in the summer, I was impressed by this young amateur photographer, assisted by his mother, and I couldn't resist taking a quick shot of him as he concentrated so hard on taking a photograph.
Actually, this young man was not the official wedding photographer - the real one appears in the workshop picture - he was a delightful and friendly man called Gianni Fantauzzi, a very accomplished photographer indeed.
Shot in RAW and converted and edited in PSE9.

Hello John,
You have to start in time if you want to be a fully fledged TE member when you are 12. This is a cute picture of a little boy trying hard to learn and a nice study of motherly care.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi John,
There are many arms in this picture and they are all well positioned in this composition. There are a lot of concentration in the eyes of the little boy. He reminds me a bit of my youngest grandson, whenever he should try something new (like fishing) he said, "just show me how, then IŽll do it myself".
An interesting link with a lot of fine jazz pictures!
Kind regards
Gunnar

G'Day, Stranger,
I love this photo John, the soft out of focus blur on the subjects arms, seem to draw the viewer to the main subjects eyes, which are razor sharp. Great DOF and great composition mate.
Regards Mike.

Hi John,
Isn't he the official wedding photographer? Why? Nice scene, maube he will be TE-member. My granddaughter Ada (3,5) likes photography - she likes making photos and likes posing. And when I say she likes travelling very much - who is she after? I like also workshop - the Scottish bridegroom in Italy is super,
Warm regrads

Hi John,
Very nice shot. One can tell the expersion on childs face even though we can not actually see it.
Good composition with the arm at 90 degrees.
I am sure he will make a fine photographer soon!

Hi John
Ooh what a cutie! I just want to hug him...and then take his eyelashes, they'll be the envy of every woman he meets. Love this candid shot, we don't see many people shots from you, so I'm glad to see it here in your Gallery. Great sharpness, depth and skintones. Your Workshop is very good too, I'm sure a nice souveneir for Gianni.
Have a great weekend
Lisa
