A superb composition in this first level of the heads of the horses, the sculpture is very beautiful and shows these animals with stunning realism.
Great sharpness and brightness in order to appreciate the authentic beauty. Well done.

You took another point of view different from mine, the horses, I like the composition with great depth and texture.

The tight frame is putting the head of the horses in evidence. The close-up point of view is showing the details and colors of the head pof the horses. The late afternoon light has a special effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

I can't resist the tight cropping of those two horses. The details are so well reproduced with clarity and balance. POV is also superb. The three dimensional effect the image has is stunning. TFS

original photo of the Neptun Fountain. Excellent close-up. Beautiful horse heads. I like it very much (more than clasic shots.)

A well composed image of these horses' heads in close up. It is very unusual to capture the heads without capturing the fountain. I like this pov.

Many thanks for your kind words, dear Ike.
Those smiling horses look quite sympathic and I notice the sculptor spared no fine details on his work.

Ciao dear Ike,
amazing close-up of these horses, captured with perfect sharpness, that seem to be in 3D. Very impressive the photo quality of the details, really seems to be in front of the fountain. It's always a great pleasure to see photos taken so well, congratulations!
Ciao, have a nice Sunday!

Very nice detail, from the fountain in Florence.
Both versions of horses with and without David are excellent.
Image quality is excellent because when the light is perfectly adequate and adjustment is the inevitable result.

Tis and the WS are great close-ups of the horses'heads, with details so fine that one can see the wild expressions of the animals. They look very earnest at their ride and very determined.
I like the contrast of the big heads against the old buildings at the back. So typical nowadays to see the satellite dish on old roofs !
Only the colours worry me a little : Some overexposure ? I don't know ?
Thanks for sharing anyway.

Great shot with excellent light and nice shadows. It would be great for horses to have more space in front - the picture may look better this way.
baddori (18988) 2012-07-21 2:30
Statues and monuments you are particularly congenial.
The sharpness and fine details emerge almost in 3D.
This in Pisa, Florence or in short ditanza with David.
Photos and reality blend as a harmonious idyll.
Take this taste of Italy "classic" than the more traditional greek that was inspiring.
The great Greek abozzatori in Italy for lovers of detail, beautiful but almost unnatural.
The picture with the proportions, and the context places the "beautiful" in the context of rough at times ... but enriching it.

Great close up on this photo, the details really stand out, very sharp focus. It's a bit of an odd color with the blues, but it works to add some contrast. So many wonderful things to photograph in such a beautiful city and you've done well to capture some of its charm. Bravo!
