1st Year in TE, a photo from Foggia, Apulia

Photographer's Note

Today is exactly one year since I joined TE.
I was looking for pictures of a place that I wanted to visit and suddenly I came across many beautiful photos. I knew immediately that that was the site I was looking for.
I made the account and has since begun a great adventure that led me to increase my already old passion for photography and for travel.
The budget of a year is very flattering: so much progress, thanks to your criticisms and suggestions, so many new friends, many of whom I knew personally at the Meeting of April in Venice, and many still get the first chance that happens.
So many beautiful photos observe, study, enjoy, among the thousands who every day each of you publish on the TE.
Wanderlust to capture new images to share with you, friends.
Thank you all and to all a renewed wishes for a Happy Year 2010, also rich in many, many beautiful photos!

P.S. This bare tree on the hill overlooking the fields below, where new plants are popping up, it seemed the perfect synthesis of a single year that has little in front of him so many new things to see grow.

Oggi è giusto un anno da quando sono entrato in TE.
Cercavo delle immagini di una località che volevo visitare e di colpo mi sono imbattuto in tante bellissime foto. Subito ho capito che era proprio quello il sito che cercavo.
Mi sono fatto l’account e da allora è cominciata una grande avventura che mi ha portato ad accrescere la mia antica passione per la fotografia e per i viaggi.
Il bilancio di un anno è assai lusinghiero: tanti progressi, grazie alle vostre critiche e suggerimenti, tanti nuovi amici, molti dei quali conosciuti personalmente al Meeting di Aprile a Venezia, e tanti ancora da conoscere alla prima occasione che capita.
Tante belle foto osservate, studiate, gustate, tra le migliaia che ogni giorno ognuno di voi pubblica su TE.
Tanta voglia di viaggiare per catturare nuove immagini, da condividere con voi, amici.
Grazie a tutti voi ed a Tutti un rinnovato Augurio di un Felice anno 2010, ricco anche di tante, tante belle foto!!!

P.S. Questo alberello spoglio sulla sommità della collina che guarda sui campi sottostanti, dove nuove piante stanno spuntando, mi è sembrato la perfetta sintesi di un solo piccolo anno che ha davanti a sé tante nuove cose da veder crescere.

You've chosen a very attractive image to celebrate this milestone. The strong graphism and this bright green are very eyecatching.
The composition is perfectly thought to get this impact, and enhance the relief.
Despite the date on which you took this photo, it looks like an image of spring season. Perhaps because today in my region, all is covered by snow ;o)

The thing I like so much about your photography is the way you select only the best of your shots to post, you always chose images where the light is wonderful or the subject is visually interesting. So many others just go for bulk postings with no regard to light or subject, their only determination is to collect as many green smilies as possible.
This is an image enriched by your photographic skills, the light is glorious and the subject is visually stimulating.
I love your composition in this capture, the way you've balanced the image is superb. The rolling green hills create a wonderful graphic. I like the way you've included the bare tree as contrast to the new growth surrounding it on all sides.
The way the tyre tracks circle the tree is a lovely touch.
It is a wonderful capture, my compliments.

Quelle magnifique photo avec la verdure si flamboyante ! Et offerte juste maintenant quand il fait si froid (malgré le réchauffement climatique). Mais chez nous au moins les montagnes autour de Grenoble sont belles, belles et encore belles… même si elles sont blanches. En tout cas merci pour cette clarté lumière et la pureté d’image.

avendolo raggiunto da poco tempo il traguardo del primo anno ho ancora vivo il ricordo di cosa si prova, pur trattandosi di un "gioco" ti prende al punto da avere proprio voglia di rientrare per incontrare persone splendide e squisite come te con cui condividere la stessa passione, senza secondi fini, pensando che siamo qui solo per migliorare la nostra tecnica e per allacciare nuove amicizie che si spera possano culminare in piacevolissimi meeting.

ti faccio in ritardo gli auguri per qs. traguardo e per il nuovo anno che e' da poco iniziato...
anche tu come me hai trovato TE per caso, cercando foto di luoghi che volevi visitare (io ne cercavo sullo Yemen...) - se non avessi scoperto qs. sito e soprattutto la parte migliore della comunita' che lo rende un luogo al quale tornare, molte cose nel mio modo di fare foto non sarebbero accadute.
possano i prossimi mesi rinnovare la tua Wanderlust, foto dopo foto...

Buongiorno Antonio,
Congratulazioni per il ta primo anno di pubblicazione su TI. Quest'albero solo può infatti essere il simbolo del primo anno. Le ondulazioni del terreno ed i solchi dei campi coltivati sono spettacolari e splendidi. la luce, i colori, la chiarezza è eccellente. Bravo.

Che dire Antonio? i tuoi verdi sono spettacolari a quanto pare :-)Di questa mi piace l'aspetto curato del prato, quasi a sottolineare che l'uomo cura governando la terra. Ma nonostante questo, il merito della di lei bellezza non gli appartiene. Davvero molto bella.
