Bellissima immagine delle saline di Marsala, con eccellente controllo della luce su cui hai ottenuto grandi contrasti e spettacolare resa cromatica.

Una bellissima foto per festeggiare il tuo primo traguardo.
Spero di non avere la barba bianca quando festeggerai il secondo traguardo :))

I was one of your fan for the previous shot, I remain for the second one! If I look at the figures, you have 100 posts and close to 10 000 smileys (exactly 9972 before my reply), so that means 100 smileys per picture. Not so bad...

Congratulations for your 100 pictures on TE . A wonderful contribution to the site . I'm not really sure that most of us have a lot of to teach to you , because your artistic talent is obvious . So , I just make a little critic about this picture : it is beautiful , no doubt , but the one in the vertical format , with the sun , too , was much better (for my taste) .

congratulations, Giorgio :) I like a lot the photo you've chosen to mark this milestone, the gradient pastel colours create a beautiful dreamy mood, and the patterns of the salts add a good graphic element, I particularly like hot the strong diagonal line leads the eye right to the mill. nice one :) and keep posting.

Bonjour Giorgio.
Toutes mes félicitations pour la qualité de tes photos et en particulier pour cette centième. C'est une très belle photo avec ce jeu des lignes et des couleurs. Le premier plan fait penser à un vitrail aux couleurs chaudes ensuite il y a le moulin et le bleu et enfin le relief en bleu sur ce ciel incroyable.

100 je croyais que c'était le nombre de bassins!...

les couleurs sont douces et se succèdent juste coupées par ses ombres noires; très belle prise de vue!

I like the composition very much and the different colours in the salt pans. On the foreground they have different tones of orange like in the sky and in the middle of the picture and around the windmill they're blue.
The dark borders of the pans make a beautiful graphical effect.
It must be a great place to visit.

Uff... io arrivo sempre ultima. Perchè lavoro ai miei romanzi fino tardi e dunque tardi mi collego a TE. Che altro posso aggiungere, di non scritto dai tuoi molti ammiratori? Solo: ma che bella foto Giorgio! Con queste luci così soffuse e come diluite nell'acqua e nell'aria. Con una luce del sole al tramonto che sfiora il tutto in una morbida, tenera carezza. E il vecchio mulino che se ne sta lì, vigile, ben deciso raccontare, per sempre, la sua storia ormai lontana.

Credo che non fossi la sola ad attendere con impazienza la tua numero foto 100.
Sono felice che abbia scelto le saline di Trapani poiché è un luogo meraviglioso. In Francia le saline sono disperatamente piatte, a Trapani, hanno scoperto saline vicine di montagne o di isole montagnose e ciò è stata per me una grande scoperta. La tua fotografia trasmette tutta la bellezza di questo luogo che lo ha incantato, la geometria fantastica e contrasti meravigliosi di colori.
Bravo ed un grande grazie per la gioia che la tua galleria mi porta.

Hi Giorgio

Congratulations for this 100th and for your work in general, always of high quality !
Once again, you prove that the light has little secret for you, and you deliver to us a charming postcard.
The composition is well mastered, the strange contradiction that I had found in your previous one is still visible: at the west, the windmill, very is representative of the western world, at the east, the shadows of the trees, near the mountain, evoke another continent: maybe Africa, or maybe the jungle of Borneo?... A journey in a single picture! I still prefer the vertical, because I find the elements more condensed on the other one, and love the more intense mood, but this one is as much technically skilful as "Saline on sunset" and that's worth to be selected to be your 100th. Your work is inspiring and I hope we'll be allowed to see more of it in the future.

come 100.ma non potevi non postare una foto che rappresenta la summa dei tuoi pregi: grafica e colore.
Anche l'elemento paesaggistico è ben collocato e d esalta le bellissime gradazioni tonali che mischiano ad arte colori caldi e colori freddi.

First, congratulations on your 100th post, and indeed a masterpiece. The late evening shot with the glow of the water immediately becomes memorable. I remember Stella Marinazzo (melzemi) also posted an image, I believe showing the same sea salt ponds. I look forward to all of your shots of Sicily.

Bonjour Giorgio,
voici un travail vraiment soigné au niveau de l'expostion. Le soleil reflète toutes ses lumières chaudes dans ce petit patchwork bien cadré.
De la profondeur avec les sommets à l'arrière plan, bien vu tout cela.
