Photographer’s Note

This little seal rock is in Isole Tremiti, is a little bay called Cala dello Zio Cesare. The water is coloured in a fabolous blue-green palette, the wind is gentle and the sun is bright and warm... a perfect place to swim and relax, a wonderful natural reserve and a poetic place to be.

Ciao Laura,
più che una fochina a me sembra la testa di un geco.
Si vede perfettamente la cavità orbitale dell'occhio :))
Ottima la luce e il contrasto cromatico con il blu del mare.
Sembra un buon posto per fare tuffi.
Mi sarebbe piaciuto vedere magari in un WS, un'area più ampia della zona.

conosco bene quella roccia, la utilizzavo per fare tuffi.
Con un indovinato POV sembra proprio un gigantesco ramarro che si affaccia indolente sulla splendida acqua tremitese. Ottimo contrasto, bellissime tonalità di azzurro.

Ciao Laura,
la forma della roccia lascia spazio a mille interpretazioni diverse, anche a me sembra la testa di un ramarro, ma una cosa è inconfutabile, l'intensità del mare e la composizione sono eccezionali e fanno venire una gran voglia d'estate!

It doesn't look so promising from the thumbnail, but when we open it and the harsh texture of the rock and that incredible emerald, clear sea is revealed, we notice how splendid it is. The compo looks very simple, but I suspect that another choice of POV would result in a much less interesting photo.
