Tower of Piscinnì Photo

Photographer’s Note

Again another sight of the tower of Piscinnì, near Teulada. You may find some info about this tower in the note to my previously posted photo: Watch Tower .
You can notice the difference in the colour of the vegetation: in the first, shot in April, the grass was still green, here is completely withered and yellow.

Si può notare la differenza nel colore della vegetazione: nella prima scattata in aprile, l’erba era ancora verde, qui è completamente secca e gialla.

Ciao Caro Donato,

Un'bello peassagio ed una ottima vista di questo paessagio. Le composizione e molto ben equilibrata con la torre ben locata nel'immagine. Primo plano ben secleto anche che dà una buona profundità all immagine. Bei colori sopratutto il colore della mare. Detagli del cielo ben captati.

Donato,
This is a well composed shot with the shoreline framing the scene. The rocks provide a diagonal through the shot to the tower. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has excellent sharpness.

Che bella! E che visuale, con un mare dai colori blu-turchese che riflette le nuvole del cielo. La foto è stata scattata da un piacevole POV, mettendoti alla stessa altezza della torre, ed enfatizzando la profondità di campo. Mi hai fatto venire la nostagia della tua bella terra. Bravo, caro amico!

Ciao Donato, the difference in seasons is amaazing. I like this tower, it has great character and is set on such a beautiful coastline. I think Alex (Fellini) posted one of this tower recently. Your island truly is an amazing and diverse place. You have captured the light superbly here, the horizon is perfectly straight, the tones subtly saturated. This is truly a fantastic seascape! One of your best!
I really like the lovely atmosphere, the low evening light and warm colour tonalities in this shot. The sky is absolutely gorgeous and the sea is beautiful too with it blue and green shades and the waves. Past but not least, the composition is perfect. A photo to marvel at!

Ciao Donato. Ogni tanto mi sfuggi.... Faccio ammenda per non avere saputo apprezzare prima la luce il dettgalio e i colori di questa luminosa realizzazione dove la torre è protagonista. Le increspature marine e il cielo per un notevole dinamismo.

The thumbnail made me think it is a lighthouse, now I see it is not!
More like kind of a watchtower, where they kept an eye on what was coming seaways...
The composition has an attractive simplicity with good depth, beautiful colours and a lovely sky!

Ciao Donato,

Cette côte me fait un peu penser à ma Bretagne natale par son côté sauvage. C'est le genre de lieu où je peux rester assise pendant des heures rien qu'à contempler, sentir le vent s'engouffrer dans les pores de ma peau et écouter le bruit de la mer. Et je suis actuellement très loin de ce genre de paysages donc inutile de te dire le plaisir que ta photo m'apporte...
Ce qui me frappe le plus à travers cette photo et l'ensemble de tes photos est cette volonté systématique de faire ressentir l'atmosphère du lieu. Et tu y arrives très bien. Je n'avais jamais perçu avant de connaître ta galerie cette faculté de la photographie. Personnellement, quand je prends une photo, je m'attache surtout à la composition sans me préoccuper de l'atmosphère qu'elle peut dégager. Parfois, elle est induite mais c'est par pur hasard.
Merci de m'avoir fait découvrir ce nouvel aspect de la photographie et merci pour cette très jolie photo qui m'aura fait passer un bon moment.

Ciao Donato, The dry grass has given it a different look, a lovely well composed marine landscape, the sunlight shinning through is beautiful. Colours are natural looking, the water with it's gentle ripples looks very inviting, greens & blues look fantastic, clarity is excellent, the sky is also impressive with the clouds well exposed. Looking at your seacapes (which I like very much), there is almost always a tower somewhere, which means that they should be plenty of them on the Italians coasts. Nice colors, and beautiful sky.
