Photographer’s Note
There are occasional rewards for getting up at 4 in the morning and lugging a tripod around. You get shots like this one, of the Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore in the pre-dawn twilight.
Technical: Levels adjustments.

Hi Daniel,
beautiful shot in the blue hour, and the details and lighning fo the church are excellent. Great job, but really the shot is dark, maybe more contrast or bright.

Hi Dan
A classical this one, good timing at the blue hour but I think you could boost the highlights some more
Have a nice day JY

Hello Daniël,
I would with tripod take F/16 than you get more depth sharpness.
This picture is very well, I like the small lights, these care for good reflections.
Nice composition, real colour, excellent captured, TFS.
Regards,
John.

hi Dan,
the sense of quiet is overwhelming here, it's obvious that this usually lively place is still sleeping. interesting how the deep blue of the morning sky is very different from the blue of the evening, and I fully agree about the benefits of getting up early. moody photo, I like it a lot.
and at least on my screen the photo looks fine, not too dark.
best,
Kristine
