Amalfi Coast view Photo

Photographer’s Note

From the Villa Rufolo in Ravello you get this stupendous view of the Amalfi coast. The pine tree and the church towers make perfect subjects for photography. I'm not the first person to put this view on Trekearth. The weather was also perfect on this day.

Ravello is high up the cliffs above Amalfi, but is easily reached by bus from Amalfi. The Villa Rufolo is open to the public for a small entrance fee, and has gardens and old buildings and great views.

Hi Vincent.
I think this is a great view showing the wonderful coast in Amalfi. It's always nice when you include a building in the foreground like you have done here. The colors are good. The depth of field is also alright. I think I would try to avoid the tree because you have to cut it in the middle. Anyway, it's a good shot.

A stupendous view over this superb coastal landscape . The fore ground is very well chosen . The whole tree is ont in the frame , but I suppose that it was difficult to take another POV .

This is a nicely composed shot taken from a great POV. The trees provide nice framing for the scene. You give us a nice look at the view of this church. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness.
