Photographer’s Note
Landscape instead of portrait frame, different angle, faster shutter speed, but the same ethereal beam of light.
Shot with the wide-angle converter for the IS-3000.
(note to Hugues: my intension was to recreate a low key atmosphere and the lack of a overall brightness is actually a necessity to achieve the feel of such a shot :)
(note to Sylvain: your wish is granted, see yesterday's first posting of The Pantheon :))

wow, great shot. I like the angle. Maybe some will say it's too dark but I prefer it this way.

Nice
I like that kind of photography.
I would like to see some lightly rays comming across of the roof. Feel to have a dusty environment,to bring back the old architectural feeling.
But very nice

What I like in this shot is the excellent metering and handling of the difficult lighting contitions...Shadow detail is perfect and the atmosphere really amazing...The framing is great too...Very well done!

Real moody feeling. Even if this picture is quite dark (not a reproach) we can see most of the details of this wonderful architecture. You captured a very soothing ray of light.

Lovely. Again, the colors and play between light and dark is just great here. I do not like posting multiple photographs of the same subject, but here you have been able to present a completely different feel to your other work. Very pleasing.

Great results from difficult shooting conditions, it definitely works for me as a composition.

great game of the light creates a very mysterious atmosphere, it is not easy to take an interesting picture in such "ordinary" place in such conditions, well done

Very interesting photograph. Hight quality on contrast, I like very much always the control of the light you have, the areas that are more o less exposed. Very good on interiors, and you always are able to give a print of you in the atmosphere of your photographs.

This is beautiful. It really captures the Pantheon well. Darkness with a stream of light. The details are wonderful. Very nicely done.

wonderful mood given by the play of light and shadow. the light from the ocula picking out the wonderful work of the corinthian capital.
