Photographer’s Note

This is one of the most panoramic viewpoints along the road which leads from Cagliari to the harbour of Teulada. You can see the watch tower of Piscinnì, built in 1500 to defend the nearby tuna fish factory from the North African pirates. In the distance you can see the promontory of Cape Teulada, the most southern point of Sardinia. The harbour where my boat is berthed lies to the right.

Questo è uno dei punti panoramici più belli lungo la strada che da Cagliari porta al porto di Teulada. Si vede la Torre di guardia di Piscinnì costruita nel 1500 a difesa della vicina e omonima tonnara e nello sfondo il promontorio di Capo Teulada, il punto più meridionale della Sardegna. Il porto dove attracco con la mia barca è situato in fondo a destra.

C'est une très jolie photo bien composée (1/3 ciel, 1/3 mer et 1/3 terre) et bien nette. Les couleurs sont très agréables, la petite pointe de couleur jaune apportée par la fleur du premier plan est la bienvenue.
J'aime beaucoup les lieux sauvages comme celui-là. ça respire le calme. Je sens l'air marin d'ici !

Questa e' la foto che mi sognavo di scattare in Turchia prima della partenza...purtroppo non ho trovato nuvole,non ho trovato venature cristalline del mare,non ho trovato questo prato verde e fiorito....insomma hai capito cosa mi e' piaciuto della tua foto..ehehe...bellissima realizzazione,complimenti e buona giornata,LUCIANO

Paesaggio marino classico, con un buon cielo delle cui nuvole appaiono i riflessi appena accennati ma visibili sull'acqua. Provvidenziale ferula a ravvivare un primo piano che sarebbe stato un po' uniforme.

just return from my vacations in Naxos-Paros islands and i saw this beautiful and well illuminated foreground of the panoramic viewpoint to the harbour of Teulada.I like the presentation of the tower of Piscinnì,as the seascape leads the eye on the far end point of Sardinia.Well done my friend.

I like a lot the green foreground, which creates an incredible perspective to take us to the beautiful and impressive view in the background. The weather gives a special, relaxing atmosphere to the scene and it works very well. Also some yellow flowers in FG add a nice touch of vivid colours. Well done!

pas) juste une semaine sur place en Turquie, pas de croisière, je n'ai jamais essayer, il paraît que c'est superbe mais ça ne me tente pas beaucoup de rester sur un bâteau, meme s'il y a escales, je suis plus tenter par des circuit comme je vais le faire prochainement en Thailande

Sono immediatamente stato seduce con i colori, e le varie tonalità di verde. La composizione è abile e spettacolare. La diagonale è molto bene utilizzata, la profondità è notevole. E, ciliegia sul dolce, il cielo è bellissimo. Congratulazioni.

This is a pleasing image. Some things that I like are listed here:
(1) The small details that add visual interest but don't dominate the frame: yellow flower, watch tower, and hills on the horizon. All are in sharp focus and are arrayed in a pleasant arc.
(2) A common feature of your photos: balanced commitment to land, sea, and sky, with an interesting shape of the shoreline.
(3) The reflection of the clouds in the sea. (That's a little detail that is easy to overlook, but creates a nice shift in illumination as one's eye scans across the image in midframe.

A rugged coastal landscape, but surely with appeal!
Certainly on a sunny day like this, when the wind is refreshing and light is great for photography...
The yellow flowers adds dots of contrast, and as always I'm fascinated by fluffy summer clouds!

This is a fascinating and very inviting seascape photo with many nice details to take in. To start with, the composition is excellent with a yellow spots on the foregound, the nice curving forms of the coastline and the tower as one eye-catcher. I particularly like the beautiful colours and the early summer atmosphere, which you have caught in a nice way. You indeed have a wonderful view on the way to your boat, especially in a day like this! My compliments!

Hi Donato! The view you have captured is really nice. The line of long view with sky and sea give a graphic scene! Good composition against an excellent bg with the tower and the settlement on the side of the hill.(boat who is???) Sharpness in its details and strong dark colors it is a pleasure to look at.

The colors here are really special as the pop right off the screen.
The lush green foreground leads the eye gently to the contrast vivid blue sea.
The beautiful summer sky with its dramatic clouds looks fantastic as it looms over the distant mountains.

Great capture of this wonderful coastline on a nice Spring day with some beautiful white clouds in the sky.

Secondo me questa è comunque la migliore che hai pubblicato in questo periodo di fine estate.
Su quella piazzola di sosta hai scelto un pov perfetto per realizzare questa splendida cattura e le condizioni del cielo erano davvero fortunate...complimenti.
