Photographer’s Note
A detail from The Pantheon's dome. The diameter which measures over 43 meters is even greater than that of the dome of the St. Peter Basilica!
This is the first shot out of a serie of low key photographs taken in Rome.

Nice balance between dark and light. The rays particularly look good. Some post camera work would easily bring out the great attributes here, and minimize the small negatives (like the over exposed wall).

Perfect capture of light rays and excellent metering...Shadow detail is very nice and the whole composition very atmospheric...Very well done!

Magnificient capture of light in a building. What architects planned hundreds of years ago still glows today! Thanks for showing us.

This must have been a tricky subject, and the wall has been over exposed, but the overall effect and atmosphere are awesome.

I love this shot, and I like it just how it is. This is such a special place, full of mystery and the tone of colours really bring that feeling out. STUNNING.

Superb architectural shot. Using the light to split the composition is great. The color here gives a surreal dimension to the image. Great work!

Yes, that's the word, solemn!
Splendid sight and detail of the dome.
Dark and strong colors,
what a impresive and imponent atmosphere here.
Beautiful ange, and perspective, well thought and seen, very good cropping and selection.

This must have been a very hard shot to get. The balance between light and dark is well represented, even if part of the wall is overexposed. Good framing, too.

In this I really love the depth of the dome. It really gives a sense of the amazing size of this space. Great lighting that adds to that. Very good, again.

great POV and crop. I like the contrast in the exposure, with the dark roof patterns.
It's a very graphic shot, reminds me some paintings.
Well done

Great point of view. It was a very good idea not to focus on the light spot or the opening on the roof.
The PoV uses well the geometrics of the roof.
Well done!

I was always the great fan of photos that capture light rays somehow. You managed to capture two completely different things in this photo: something as delicate and soft as ray of light and so monumental and big as the Pantheon's dome and this is why I like this photo. Great job Edwin.
Take care, Estaban.
