Photographer’s Note

Coppedè, is the name of a group of Art-Nouveau palaces near Viale Regina Margherita, Rome. These palaces are renowned for their architecture featuring floral, mythological and medieval effects. The Coppedé area feels like a setting straight out of a fantasy world.
This area is named after its architect Gino Coppede’. His works are an example "Eclecticism" (i.e. borrowing freely from various sources) which characterises the beginning of the XXth century.
